Hi Patricia,

The Todds that I am looking for would be John S(harp) Todd b. 1724 d. circa 1799; wife, Nancy _______ Todd b. 1739 d. before 1790; sons John Todd b.circa 1755 d. circa 1795 & James Todd b. 1757 d. 1814; wife, Margaret Erwin Todd b. 1759 d. after 1806; Mary Todd d. 1845; grand son Joseph E. Todd b. circa 1786 d. 1871; wife Margaret Robinson Todd b. circa 1789 d. before 1850; great grandson Milo G. Todd b.circa 1833 d. 1863. These people are the ancestors that I am looking for. I know they started out in Rowan County and I believe they are buried there. Any information about buried Todds and deeds would be helpful.

I will be happy to pay for copying cost and postage. Any chance you could see if they have bastardy bonds for 1784. James Todd paid L50 for this . I am hoping to confirm who the person who lodged the complaint.
