I am researching the Bussey Clan in Edgefield Co,
S.C.

Dempsey is a family name and your posting is the first time I have seen it
outside of the Busseys. You might want to check with the archives for that
site and see if your surname is listed. I do not show it in my records but
they are incomplete except for my direct line.
