Looking for HOW, HOWES, HOWE, BERRINGER, BRIDGEN, BENNETT, MOORE, JONES,
MIDDLETON,

  I have recently found a possible link to our HOWE ancestors. I
need your help to find our HOWE family connection.. Thank you for any

Job HOWE/HOWES, married to Sarah MIDDLETON widow of Edward MIDDLETON.
(came to Cape Fear River settled at St.James parish Goose Creek) Job
HOWE/HOWES was known as one of the Goose Creek Men.(name listed as Job
HOWE in the historic view of Goose Creek Chrurch.) abt.. 1680"s..

Robert HOWE/HOWES son of Job and Sarah. married to Mary MOORE, daughter
of Gov. James MOORE and Margaret BERRINGER.
                    had one
child we know of...
Job HOWE/HOWES SR. son of Robert HOWE/HOWES and Mary MOORE

Job HOWE/HOWES Sr. married Martha JONES, Their children are:
          child #1 Robert HOWE born 1732 Clarendon
N.C. (this is Maj. General Robert HOWE/HOWES of revolutionary war fame.)
        child #2 Job HOWE JR. born abt 1734 in Hanover
N.C.    
child #3 Mary HOWE born abt 1736 in Hanover N.C.

Job HOWE JR. married Jane BRIDGEN BENNETT. their children are as
follows:

        child #1 Robert HOWE who married Maryann TURNER
   
child #2 Thomas Clifford HOWE who married Ann VAIL
  
child #3 William HOWE who married Catherine UNKNOWN (William moved his
family to Humphreys co. Tennesee sometime before
1830)
****after much research through estate papers and wills. we have decided
that William was not a son of Job HOWE Jr. but we believe he was related
to this family. the HOWE and other families of the area moved to
Humphreys/Benton co. Tn. together. this is my brick wall. any help would
be greatly appreciated...

Mary and James wittnessed the will of William HOWE who died in 1843
Benton co. tn.)
