Thanks for the wonderful information.

I would love to see the book that has this list of Scot's that you referred
to.

I'm not much of a person to reccomend reading a romance novel for historical
information but I finished reading one that dealt with the Jacobite War of
c.1745.
It has a couple of maps where the fighting took place and mentions several
clans.
If anyone is interested in reading it....The Blood of the Roses by Marsha
