Hi Stokes-L,

My late Great Uncle William Clarence WALL great grandson of Byrd WALL &
Lucy GRIFFIN was my lines best source of genealogy information. Prior to
his passing Uncle Clarence told my Aunt that Byrd WALL had a sister that
married a VAUGHAN. Well last night I located a marriage that fits
Clarence's description and I am wondering if this couple ever ended up in
Stokes (or Forsyth) CO. NC?

Elizabeth WALL m. William VAUGHAN. 15 Dec 1818. b: Thomas HENDRICK. min:
Reuben PICKETT

two other WALL marriages same source and page were:

Sally WALL m. Thomas HENDRICK. 12 Dec 1803. b: Charles HAMBLIN
Rebecca WALL m. William HENDRICK 11 Feb 1805. b: Howell GRAVES

The Elizabeth WALL m. William VAUGHAN marriag is of great interest to
me. Byrd WALL & Lucy GRIFFIN were also married by Rev. Reuben PICKET on 27
Jan 1809 Halifax Co. Virginia. Byrd & Lucy migrated to Rural Hall, North
Carolina (portion of Stokes that becomes Forsyth Co I believe)

Am wondering if any of these folks are known, and if they migrated into
NC? All I know of them at this time is the marriage listings I posted here.
