I am also new to the list.

I have Robert and Mary Polly Eastrip or Astrop, his birth 1785 in North
Carolina, hers 1786 in Virginia.
Their children:
George H. (my great great grandfather) born 1817
Anna Young born 1809
Edward Young born 1823
Joshua Young born abt 1811
Robert Young born abt 1815
Elizabeth Young born abt 1810
Jane Young born 1806
John Young born abt 1828, married July 3, 1848 to July (?)
Mary Young born abt 1825

I believe the will of Robert Young is in Stokes County wills book 4 pg
296,x;

I am trying to get together a book for my father's 75th birthday next month.
My research shows that Robert's grandfather settled in North Carolina in
1762 building on land that was on the north side of the Town Fork Creek and
Dan River. I would very much like pictures of that area if someone living
in that area would be willing to take some digital pictures and email them
to me. Just the landscape would be great.
