This is my last post on the download. Try this one for Windows operating systems.

Without really knowing what operating system each of you are running, or your level of computer savvy, it's kind of hard for me to give you instructions that you can understand or not. Some of you had no problem in getting on the site, or getting the download to view parts of the site, but others seem to be all over the map. :-)

Anyway, it was just FYI anyway. So, have fun and keep searching.

PS: even if you have the latest version of Internet Explorer or Netscape, it's my understanding that you still need this plug-in to view the site.

Also, some of the records on the site are "viewable" as originals, but most aren't. What it looks like they're doing is trying to put all their indexes of records on-line for easy finding aids. Give the NC Archives an applause for that! :-)
