I subscribed to this list on the slim possibility that I might uncover some
information about my ROBERTSON/ROBINSON line - unexpected benefits have
provided info about my ALLEN line from Granville Co., NC, thanks to this
wonderful list!

I am looking for information on the father of William Pitt
ROBERTSON/ROBINSON (spelled many different ways in census records) b. ca.
1820-21 somewhere in NC - father reported to also be William Pitt ROBERTSON
also b. NC, but not verified.

I would love to find out if anyone knows anything about the William
ROBERTSON listed in the 1820 Warren Co., NC census records on page 800,
according to the AIS index.

Other male ROBERTSONs in this line include: James, John, William, Isham &
Jefferson (sons of WPR b. ca 1820-21). This family shows up in the
Pickens/Fayette/Lamar Co. AL area from 1840 to 1870.

Still hoping one day to crack my brick wall!!! Thanks in advance!
