I have a few other problems though, he died in Mexico and he was
born before North Carolina will give out records. I did send for the
social security freedom of information copy. The copy was nearly
unreadable. I am guessing at "lord" Kelly, it could be "Long" Kelly
since my wife said that her father was called Roland Long Kelly.
She never met her grandparents. Her parents were divorced when
she was a year old, back in 1945. Thanks again for the reply.
