YADKINVILLE - Ms. Jane Driver, 50, died Monday, Oct. 15, 2001, at her home. Ms. Driver was born Jan 5, 1951, in Yadkin County to Thomas F. and Paulette Jones Driver. Jane was a graduate of Forbush High School and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She was office manager and estimator for Resource Painting and was a member of Yadkinville United Methodist Church. Jane loved playing tennis and was a member of the USTA. She was preceded in death by her parents. Surviving are a brother, Tom Driver and wife Sybil of Yadkinville; a sister, Georgia Ann Snow and husband Kent of Lecanto, Fla.; a nephew, Kory Bennett and wife Jennifer of Tampa, Fla.; two nieces, Paige Driver of Hamptonville and Brandi Brown of Ronda; a great-niece; Eve Bennett; and many good friends. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, 2001, at Gentry Family Chapel, Yadkinville by the Rev. Patty Choplin. The family will receive friends after the service at the funeral home. In lie!

YADKINVILLE - Former Elkin assistant director of parks and recreation Jane Driver, 50, died Monday at her home. Driver, who served as assistant director during the 1980s, was a member of the United States Tennis Association and served as tournament director for one of her pet projects - the well-received USTA tournaments.
At the time of her death, Driver was office manager and an estimator for Resource Painting of Yadkinville.
A memorial sevice will be held Thursday, Oct. 18, at 3 p.m. at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home and are requesting that memorials be made to the Lupus Foundation of America, Inc., Winston-Triad Lupus chapter NCLF, 2841 Foxwood Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
