There are many Jacob Schmokers. My husbands line goes from Jacob Schmoker born 1830 in Switzerland, In fact all of his were born in Switzerland. Jacob, born in 1810, Jacob born in 1777, then we go to a Christian Schmoker born in 1720 and then back to Jakob Schmocker in 1693. All born in the valley Grindelwald, Bern, Switzerland. If this can help you I can help with other names.
