It is likely that both Froemke and Fromke descendants are related,
based on DNA and geographical evidence. (My uncle's DNA was tested by
SMGF, the Sorenson Molecular Genealogy Foundation. His DNA has close
matches with Germans from Russia, where some of the Froemkes were born
and lived.)
