My husbands ancestor, George Benton McCabe died in Sargent County on March 28, 1844. We have a copy of the obit, but not the information as to the name of the newspaper. Does anybody know what paper this obit might have been published in, or is there anybody who could check someplace and get us the actual paper name along with the page number and date of publication?
He lived in Havana.
also wondered if there might be somebody who, in the spring could make it out to the Rutland Cemetery for a gravestone photo. We do have lot number.
