Seeking information from 1900 Census on FLOYD SMITH b. 1 Feb 1892--mother's
name is EMMA.

Floyd was my grandmother's first husband. He drowned in Rowell Lake, Neligh,
NE on 2 Jun 1912 and was buried from St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Neligh,
NE. This Church is no longer active and after several months of looking for the
Church records, the Diocesan Office in Norfolk, advises me that these records
were probably taken home by one of the parishioners and may be forever lost.

In Floyd's obit, his mother is listed as EMMA WRIGHT, but the Church could
not confirm whether or not she had remarried or when, so I do not know if Floyd
was listed as living in a SMITH or WRIGHT household in 1900.

Family members seem to think that Floyd Smith was from Antelope County and
that my grandmother married him in Antelope County, but I have found no record
of this. My grandmother's name was Dora Ann Howard.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
