While I was scanning the Tekamah, NE newspaper I came across several issues that had stories of the 1922
Decatur bank robbery.

These three men appeared to be so inept that the judge scolded them for simply being dumb.

He came close to the point of saying that what they tried to pull off was an embarrasment to the
community.

False mustaches that were crooked and wrecking the get away car attempting to drive away from the scene was
part of the scenerio.

In the least they were not stupid enough to harm anybody so you have to give them credit for that....not
mean...just dumb..

They tried to escape twice with the old smuggled in saw blade.......

This read like what you would expect to see from a 3 stooges film.

Some of the funniest reading you would expect to see anywhere....

Still laughing when I recall the judge's remarks.....
