Dr. Henry was a very active and enterprising citizen of Omaha. He was a town
lot speculator, and in the summer of 1856 he built the first portion of Pioneer
Block, which was then called Henry's Block. He also built, in company with
another man, the building in which the first drug store was located, which he
ran by himself.
