Good Morning Everyone,
This is just a message to let you know that on the National Genealogical
Society Magazine: NGS News Magazine; Volume 29; Number 2; March/April 2003
issue there is a picture circa 1895 of the Fors Olaf Jonson Family.
Inside on page 2 it states:
The Fors Olaf Jonson Family emigrated from Vamhus, Sweden, Sweden about 1870.
The settled in northeastern Nebraska. Pictured are (back row) Oscar, Andrew,
William, Fred, and Emil; (front row) Anna, Fors Olaf, Mabel and Krang Anna.
The family homesteaded in Swaberg, Nebraska, near what is now Uehling. About
1886 they moved to Hoskins where he farmed the remainder of his life. He
donated a portion of his farm near Hoskins for a Swedish Cemetery where he
and many other Swedes from other families rest.
Hope this helps someone in their search, Gretchen
