There are several sources on the web for the history of Nebraska. The
"History of the State of Nebraska", A. T. Andreas, 1882 would be one place
to look for history before 1882. The NEGenWeb Project Online Library in our
Nebraska Resource Center has Johnson's "History of Nebraska" (1880). Oldtime
Nebraska has Sheldon's "History and Stories of Nebraska" (1914). The
NEGenWeb Project Nemaha and Saline county sites also have some history
related information for their counties.
