I have not posted to the list for a while and thought that I would put
my surnames out again.
My father lived in the Omaha, Nebraska area in about 1911 or later maybe
earlier.
anyway right around that time. His mother was Indian and his white
father had left the family. She remarried another Indian either there or
in the Dakotas. I have a postcard referring to him as Vance Perry.
(adopted name????) He then left there when his mother died of TB and
went to live with his white father. His sister Virginia went to
Minneapolis, Minnesota to live with a family called Pulliam.
Anyone in the Omaha area have any ideas?????
