In today's edition of the Kearney Daily Hub, there is
an article regarding a legislative study "on the
logistics of creating an official registry of
cemeteries in Nebraska." The full article is at
http://www.kearneyhub.com, and for the next 30 days,
the paper keeps the article in its archives.

THIS STUDY IS IMPORTANT. Not just for family history
researchers like all of us, but for everyone. There
is a quote I read somewhere that says something like;
A civilization is judged by the way they treat their
dead. Kathie's email to the NEBRoots list of a couple
of days ago should remind us all that we are failing
our ancestors.

If you live in Nebraska, or have ancestors buried in
Nebraska, the results of this study will affect you.
