Have you checked the 1870 and 1880 census records? That would give you
some info and confirm where they lived. Nebraska also did an 1885 state
census taken in June, 1885. That's great for information since it lists
how many acres were under cultivation, what animals were owned, etc. Were
your Everetts in Florida by June? If you don't have access to the census
records at a nearby Mormon church branch library or the 1880 census on
CD-ROM, let me know.

I was born in Beatrice and all my grandparents lived there. In my
experience, there's not a lot of info available for the 1860s and 1870s.
But you never know what you might find. Good luck with your research!
