Unfortunately, quite a bit of this information is incorrect in regards to Generation #3. John F. Cook and Mary Ann O'Neill Cook were from Wilmot Township, Bradford County, Pennsylvania. They moved to Greeley after Mary Ann's brother, Thomas Kelly O'Neill, relocated there. The Cook's and the O'Neill's were both from Ireland having settled in the Irish Settlement area of Pennsylvania in the 1840's. The Cook's were from County Westmeath and the O'Neill's from County Wexford. The Cook farm was practically next door to the O'Neill farm so it was no surprise when they married. Their son, Nicholas James Cook, was named after Mary Ann's father.
