Hello Betty,

I looked in the books "Entering Howard County" and the Farwell
centennial book. Didn't find any mention of the August Krause
family. Do you have access to the U.S. Census? You can usually get
to it at a local library through Ancestry.com, or on microfilm
depending where you live. If you don't, I'd be happy to look up this
family for you.

I know I have seen the name in Howard county a lot, though.
