Hello and Holiday Greetings to my Neisler Cousins,

I hope that you all had a wonderful Christmas and I pray that your new year will be the best ever.

I have been on the Neisler Website today, trying to catch up on the postings over the last while. I have also gotten very busy on my Walter Legacy book again. As you probably know, my Walter Family includes Frances Walter that married John Neisler, your family Patriarch in the USA. If you descend from John Neisler and Frances Walter, I would love to hear from you. I don't mean to omit the descendants of John and his second wife Susannah Cook, but sense this group is not connected to my Walter family, I opted not to dig deeper into this line. I would still like to hear from you, just to let me know that you descend from John and Susannah.

The children of John Neisler and Frances Walter as I have them listed are-
1. John Lincoln Neisler born October 20, 1768; married Catherine Mary Coleman
2- Nicholas Neisler born March 20, 1770; married Elizabeth Barberick
3- Hugh Neisler born July 27, 1772, married Rachel Mitchell
4- David Neisler born August 27, 1774; married 1st Christine Goodnight and next Mary Groner

I want to include your family line in our Walter Legacy book. This book is not for profit, but merely to preserve our heritage. I'll be more that happy to exchange information with you (files, pictures, etc). If you have any folklore that you are willing to share, please send it to me. If you know of mistakes in any of my previous postings or information that you may have received from me, please let me know. Please include your pedigree back to John and Frances.

I know that some of you live in areas that I travel in, I would love to visit with you if the opportunity ever arises. I am in the textile machinery business and I travel all over the south and occasionally to California. I will be in Alabama much of January and part of February. Let me know if it's possible to meet some of you. I will be in the Birmingham area, working at Russell's Coosa River Plant and at Delta Apparel in Fayette.
