In Record extracts from the Catholic Church in Fairbury Illinois where I found the baptismal entry for a LASEK Great Aunt, there are a couple more entries on the same page that may be of interest:

"12 April 1868, This day I baptised Frances, 3 months and 5 days old, daughter of Patrick Whelan and Mary Foley; The sponsors being Philip Foley and Mary Whelan. Thomas Quigley"

"....... Also at the same time (26 April 1868) I baptised John, 7 months old, son of Michal Horroran and Margagret Twickham (sp). The sponsors being Mr. Murphy and Mary Anne Fitzmanice. Also, at the same time I baptised Alice, 26 days old, daughter of James O'Neil and Mary Casey. The sponsors were John Stranchea (sp) and Mrs. Rosine O'Neile."

"11 May 1868 - This day I baptised Catherine Alice, born on the 9th April, daughter of Daniel Scanlen and Margaret Goggins (his wife): Sponsors XXXXXXX Scanlen and Elizabeth Cunningham. Thomas Quigley (priest).
