Dear Karin,
Thanks for the site about Chicago marriages. Even though I knew the site
where they list marriages in IL was for marriages 1763-1900, I went there again
to check. I almost dropped my teeth when Michael Carroll and Catherine
Caffery's marriage license in Cook Cty. came up. Unfortunately, it was in 1873
before Katherine was born in 1891. For a moment I got that buzz feeling that
we get when we break thru a wall. WhoHoo! So thank you for that.
