John W. Maines is my great grandfather who was born 1855 in Indiana. I have information that leads me to believe that one of his sons, Ralph W. Maines was born in Chadron in November 1887.

The family could have lived in the Chadron or Hay Springs area around this period as there is a J. W. Maines listed in the 1890-91 Sheridan County Farmer's register.

Any information on this family would be appreciated.
