My maiden name is Melville-Ness. my dad,Thomas Robertson Melville Ness was born in Kingskettle Fife in 1908. His parents, Elizabeth Melville and Walter Ness, died a year apart in the early 1920s. I have one first cousin, Fiona whose father was Tom's brother but his 2 sisters did not marry. Dad combined his parents'names when he came to Canada from Scotland in 1926 to work on a threshing crew. He died in 1976. I happened to be in google and see that there are several articles about Dad.

I do not know much about my ancestry although I do have some info about my great grandfather Thomas Melville who was a potato merchant.
