EWING -- Theodora Anna "Oma" Geurds, 96, died Tuesday at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton.

Born in Zevenaar, Netherlands, she lived in Ewing more than 40 years.

Wife of the late Hermanus A.W. Geurds, who died Dec. 11, 1960, she is survived by six sons and five daughters-in-law, William and Joann Geurds of Washington state, Anton and Rose Geurds of Trenton, Henk and Noel Geurds of Sewell, Winandus Geurds and partner Ben Allison of Alstead, N.H., Rudy and Franny Geurds of Hamilton and Kees and Angela Geurds of Ewing; four daughters and a son-in-law, Anneke Blattner of California, Doris and Frank Servis of Trenton, Trudy Giemza and former husband Adam Giemza of Harleysville, Pa., and Julie Hogan and partner Mike Roberts of St. Pete Beach, Fla.; 25 grandchildren, including Dora Giemza, Corrie Robbins Giemza and Erika Zaiser Giemza, who grew up with their grandmother, and Stacey Geurds, her caretaker of five years; 24 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 42 W. Upper Ferry Road.

Burial of cremains will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hamilton.

Friends and relatives may call 10:30 a.m. until Mass at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Sisters of Mercy, in care of Sister Dianne Szubrowski, 1645 Route 22 West, Watchung, N.J. 07069.

Arrangements are by Hartmann Funeral Home, Mercerville.
