When and where are Adriaan and Maria married ?
And yes you are correct that Suzanna Riemens was
Jacobus first wife and Janna Versluis his second.
As you may have noticed, Adriaans' family used proper
surnames.
It's different in Marias' family, they use patronimics and
that can be very difficult and confusing when you're researching.
Am I correct when I say these families are protestant ?
Protestant church records are written in Dutch and easier to read then catholic ones who are in Latin and I have to say that most priests didn't have great handwriting....
