I'm researching the following Foster family line and would appreciate
any additional information that anyone might have to share.
Ezra FOSTER SR.
1. Ezra Foster, b. in Andover, Mass., in 1762. m. about 1791, Abigail
GARLAND, b. in Jefferson, formerly Dartmouth, in 1777, d. in Littleton,
April 13, 1859. He res. in L. from 1824 until he d., Feb. 22, 1856.
Farmer. Rev. sodier and pensioner. Private, Capt. Samuel Fay's Co.,
Lieut. Col. Webb's Reft., enlisted Sept. 12, 1781, for 3 months, also
enlisted in Capt. John Tuell's Co., June 14, 1782, for three years.

The Gazetteer of Grafton County-published 1886
(gives brief biographical info on some of the towns early settlers)
it gives the following information under the town of Lyman:
Ezra Foster, a Revolutionary soldier, settled in Littleton soon after
the war, locating near Lyman. He was past ninety years of age when
his death occurred. He reared a large family of children.
