New to this list and with some detailed information on the Foster family
descebdants of Capt. John Foster, captain of the Zealandia for anyone who is
researching this family. Also particularly looking for information on Lydia
Smith who came out on the Zealandia and married John's son William. They
taught at Halswell School and died at Cave. I have no dates for Lydia
although I have some information about her family in England.
I look forward to communicating with other N.Z. researchers.
