Hello listers,

I am posting this message for a friend who is looking for information about
an ancestor, Albert Arthur RAMSAY (also known as CLAMP). Albert emigrated to
Auckland from England sometime after 1907. He was there by 1917 as stated on
one of his son's Canadian military applications. Albert may have been living
with another son, Robert Campbell RAMSAY and may have been in business in
Auckland. Would some kind person have access to directories for Auckland
circa 1917 which might list him and his occupation or would anyone know of
any ship's passenger lists which might show his arrival in NZ?
