Hugh McLIVER/MacLIVEN was b. ca. 1818. He mar. Jane Buckland CHRICHARD, 26
Feb 1839 at Hobart, TAS. He d. in San Francisco, CA, in the Fall of 1850
(the cholera epidemic).

At some time in his life, he went to New Zealand where he and his brothers
took up extensive land grants.

After his death, his wife "went to New Zealand to settle their affairs. She
remained for several years and returned to San Francisco." (Which to me
means there may have been a will probated around 1850 - 'course I don't know
where in New Zealand this all took place.)

Would someone have an interested in the McLIVER/MacLIVEN line? Any
information to share? I would appreciate any help or assistance on this.
