Hi all

I am a new suscriber to the New Zealand list, I live in Suffolk England, in
1844 an ancestor of mine my 1st cousin 4xremoved called Joanna Nunn married
a William Peter Robins, at St John's Church, Hyde Park Crescent, Paddington,
London, some time around 1862 they emigrated, I beleive firstly to Victoria,
Australia, (where William's brother Charles Robins died at Geelong,
Victoria, in 1913) I suspect they may have emigrated together with their
wives, Charles staying in Australia and William & Joanna Robins moving on to
New Zealand circa 1862. Joanna Robins died in 1893 at Featherston (North
Island) New Zealand, on her death certificate it states that she had been a
resident of New Zealand for 31 years, William Peter Robins died at
Featherston in 1901, I do not beleive they had any children, as Williams
'WILL' of 1901 leaves property to a neice Mrs M Cody of Inglis Street,
Ballarat, Victoria, if anyone can help on this branch of my family, or maybe
they are connected, please do drop me a line, direct at :-
My other request is, that there is apparently a
grave stone at Featherston Cemetery for William & Joanna Robins, if any kind
subscriber happens to live in that area, I am really keen to get a photo of
that grave, I would happily pay for the photo & postage etc.
