I am tryingto getin touch with Bil Stuart from Invercargill, NZ whose relations
emigrated to NZ in the late 1800's from Kishorn, Wester Ross, Scotland.
His great grandmother Mary Murchison (nee MacRae) distilled whisky in NZ
and her still is now in a museum I think. The area Honukai is relevant
and the boat his ancestors travelled to NZ on was the "Hydaspes". Bill
has written a book about the whisky industry.. I am interested in getting
in touch with him re a Community project taking place in the Lochcarron/Kishorn
area in Wester Ross, Scotland. Anyone else with connections to this same
area please also get in touch for more information on taking part.
