There are LOTS of "David Wilson" records that could be your man -
Suggest
you could work thru all the likely ones on the NZSG CDROM - then
perhaps
trace the electoraol rolls for his last know location - work
forward until his name dissapears - then look for death info for that
period

Are there any deaths that might match his age by birthdate ? and if
so do the death certs give correct parent names ? or have you
found matching
newspaper notices?
