Contrary to what has just been said you may order a certificate on line
provided you have all the details including the folio number. and you give
them a credit card number.
It costs $9

The address is http://www.bdm.govt.nz.
All the information you require is set out there. The email address is there
also. I admit its a bit difficult to find but you can learn a lot from that
site and you can rely on the information given.
