Some of you have "pleaded my indulgence" too many times in expecting me to
tolerate off-topic subjects - such as the spelling one on the go now.

Many of us lead busy and interesting lives and have moved on from this sort
of nonsense. If it was not for the wonderful work done by people such as
Jacqueline Walles and Denise & Peter who have made this list a treasure
trove, I would cease to be a subscriber.

I am sure you have a valid point about spelling, but there are more
appropriate places, or rather people, who you can pay to listen to you.
Perhaps it should be SPELT out to you. There are two professions, both
beginning with the letters PSY...
