Hi Margaret,

The only way to find out about coastal shipping of the period is to dredge through old newspapers, -
impossible unless you have a date and port, and that's presuming the relevant paper can be found somewhere.

I have the three books which my friend Christine mentioned, happy to have a look for you anyway, but don't
hold your breath hoping. Mostly it's just the basics, - Ship, Captain, From /To, etc.
