No doubt there will be several takers for Carol's kind offer to
do 58th Regiment lookups in the 12 AJCP films of Muster Rolls &
Pay Lists at the Auckland City Library.

However it is not clear to me that this library presently holds
these AJCP films for the 58th regiment. Perhaps it's a case of
them being a recent and yet to be catalogued addition? For I note
listed in its online catalogue at:
http://www.akcity.govt.nz/library/cat/cat.html it holds only the
20 reels of the AJCP Muster & Pay List films for the 65th Regiment!
