This is my very first attempt at NZ research and I am hoping to get a few tips and possible leads
from this list.

BARTHOLOMEW FITZGERALD came to Lower Hut NZ from Co. Cork [?] He was born abt 1856. He married
JOHANNA O'SULLIVAN, b: Co. Kerry abt 1858, and she came out to Canterbury NZ in 1873.

Johanna [Annie].and Bartholomew were married in the Catholic Church Carterton on 7th December 1879,
and they had 12 children, with 8 being born in NZ before they migrated to Australia and settled in
Bunyip, Victoria.

I am hoping to get some info on the early days of this couple in NZ before they came to Aus.
