My Grand fathers brothers both William and Joesph Conning
emigrtated to New Zealand In 1910..Jospeh married
Gertrude Giles,She Died 1956, he died 1972,they also had
a son Killed in the forces 1941 in CRETE, his name was
Joh David Conning aged 24 died 24 May 1941,,
the Blood Line is ,, (a) William @ Joseph would have been
my Great Uncles and (b) Gertrude would have been my
Great Aunt Through Marriage..and (c) John David would havre been my Cousin.
Is should say they came from an area i belive to be on the West Coast Called HOKITIKA
the above information is all factual and not speculation
