Hi Laurie, Blocking the sender is not the answer to this. The sender has
no knowledge of what is happening on their computer. I urge everyone to
download their latest information from their Anti-virus centre, then run
their own checks.
If you are aware of the senders address from which some of them come, you
can separately warm them of what is happening.
The first three to come to me yesterday were from people already in my
address book. the next were from listers I've never heard of before. I
never open attachments unless I know the sender. Also the fact that the
NZlist prefix and/or other lists, was in the address I knew them to be this
virus as I also know that these do not come from rootsweb. Rootsweb does
not allow attachments.
I sincerely hope that all on the list will take the previous advice and
update their software and run a check on their system. It's hard to believe
their are still people out there who do not have an anti-virus checker, but
sadly it's true.
Cheers
Chris
