Hi All,

Looking for any information with connection to the NEWPORT surname with
in New Zealand, I am currently doing a one name study of all Newport's
in New Zealand and would like to make contact with anyone wishing to
share information.

I am connected with three Newport brothers (listed below) who came with
their families to Nelson on the "Sir Charles Forbes" in 1842.

Samuel NEWPORT and Ann WILLSDEN
Joseph NEWPORT and Mary CHILTON
Stephen NEWPORT and Leah WADE

But I am aware that there are at least two other Newport families who
arrived in New Zealand in the late 1800's and am hoping to find out more
about these families.
