The Cartwright family that I am researching is the following:

William Cartwright b Fermanagh Ireland, d in Ireland m Mary Anne Howell she b 1811 Fermanagh d 1898 New Zealand. Among their 8 children are John 1840-1906 m Catherine Jane Blair 1841-1906, James 1857-1939 married Catherine's sister Elizabeth Blair 1864-1941 and Edward Blair 1852-1937 who married Mary Jane Emerson, a niece of the Blair sisters.
All the Cartwright family is buried in Pleasant Point Cemetery South Canterbury.
