Does anyone have info on the Royal Marines service in NZ 1860-64? I am
looking for details of one George Bentham MORRIS, later MP for the East
Coast and a member of the Legislative Council until his death in 1903.

I am wondering if there is a connection between MORRIS's service and his
settling in Tauranga at Te Papa?

Any military or Tauranga experts out there who can help?
