I have copies of two photos taken by the Josiah Martin Studio, Queen St Auckland. The date is unknown, but probably in the 1870s.

Does anyone on this list have knowledge of this studio, such as the period over which it operated. This may help me narrow down the date of the photos. Also I know that the records of some prominent studios have found their way into the public domain, such as the City Library and National Archives and I wonder if this might be the case with this studio. Can anyone help in this regard.
