Hi Maxwell. George VI was crowned on May 12th 1937. I was 4 and a
bit and there were coronation mugs, which I no longer have, alas, but
also special stamps to celebrate the occasion which I DO have. Hope
this helps. Perhaps I should change my name to Encarta+. David.
