Betty,
I recently purchased electronic printouts and a modern version of
death, certificates, from NZ. Neither show names of children. I worked mine
out because I already knew the names ages and who lived and who died before
James died. In Victoria and I assume Australia, the newest ones do mention
children and ages but only if the names are given to the informant. My
father died in January and I was the informant, we have his certificate
with our names and ages. I have one from 1975 of my grandfathers death with
ages only of my Mum and her siblings. The names werent asked for. The
informant was my uncle who would have known the names, he did however age
my aunties quite a bit and was in the dog house for a long time!!
Barbara in very hot and muggy Melbourne, waiting for the F1 to begin!!
